Abstract: The structural monitoring of buildings and terrain by means of geodetical and geotechnical sensors is an imported task field of modern surveying engineering. The free and open-source monitoring system DABAMOS has been developed at the Hochschule Neubrandenburg, and is neither limited to specific sensors nor to particular manufacturers. This master’s thesis deals with the development and implementation of an autonomous working client computer for measuring and data processing purposes, including the control of sensors and the transmission of measurement result to internet servers, using the DABAMOS software.
