In this thesis presents the validation of three ionospheric models, such as the Neustrelitz
Peak Density Model (NPDM), the Neustrelitz Peak High Model (NPHM) and quick-run ionospheric
electron density model NeQuick using ground (ionosonde) - and spacebased observations
(IRO) at different latitudes and at different solar activity.
