Abstract: In the present paper, it is dealt with the appropriation of media product formats in the youth work. Therefore, a project on the Datzeberg in Neubrandenburg was described in connection with his media role model "Germany for the Superstar" below. Both events are presented according to certain criteria, in the project description from the Datzeberg, the item entitled "Implementation of the Star Search" split in some other relevant subheadings. Thus, there was a test to what extent the acquisition of television role models can have an influence on youth work.
