Die Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung einer Software zur Kartendarstellung
auf mobilen Endgeräten (u.a. Mobiltelefon, Smartphone). Es werden die Möglichkeiten
einer Positionsbestimmung mobiler Endgeräte betrachtet. Dadurch kann eine visuelle
Veranschaulichung des aktuellen Aufenthaltsortes mit Hilfe von georeferenziertem Kartenmaterial
realisiert werden. Neben den beiden Hauptfunktionen (Kartendarstellung mit aktueller
Position) werden weitere Funktionen in Betracht gezogen, die in Zusammenhang mit der
Software bereitgestellt werden können.
Für die Umsetzung der mobilen Anwendung werden die Betriebsysteme mobilen Endgeräte
mit den dazugehörigen Programmiersprachen (Java 2 Mirco Edition - J2ME) berücksichtigt.

The thesis deals with the development of a software to display maps on mobile devices
(inter alia mobile phone, smartphone). There are the possibilities for positioning
of mobile devices considered. This allows the realization of visual illustration
of the current residence with the help of georeferenced Maps. Besides the two main
functions (maps with current position), other functions can be considered, in connection
with the software.
For the programming of the mobile application, the OS of mobile devices, with their
programming languages (Java 2 Mirco Edition - J2ME) are to be consider.
