Abstract: Content of this thesis is the restoring of perennial plantations in the garden of family Holst according to Karl Plomins historical plans. The garden of family Holst is northeast of Hamburg in the district Storman. 1957 Karl Plomin got the first assignment to design the area around the house. To clarify the heritage of that area the State Office for the Preservation of Historical Landscape Schleswig-Holstein ordered an expertise. Subject of this expertise was the inventory and historical analysis of the park but not in detail on the perennial plantations. Main purpose was to investigate whether it is possible to restore the perennial plantation according Karl Plomins historical plans under present circumstances.
