Thema der Diplomarbeit ist die Wiederherstellung der Staudenflächen von Karl Plomin
bei der Familie Holst in Hoisdorf. Der Garten der Familie liegt im Kreis Storman,
nordöstlich von Hamburg. 1957 wurde Karl Plomin erstmals beauftragt die Flächen um
das Wohnhaus zu gestalten. 2003 wurde im Auftrag des Landesamt für Denkmalpflege Schleswig-Holstein
ein Gutachten erstellt um den Denkmalwert des Grundstückes zu ermitteln. Ziel des
Gutachtens waren die Bestandserfassung und historische Analyse des Parks, dabei wurde
jedoch nicht detailliert auf die Staudenpflanzungen eingegangen. Ziel ist es zu untersuchen,
ob man auf Grund der heutigen Gegebenheiten in Verbindung mit den alten Plänen von
Karl Plomin dem Wusch des Eigentümers, die Staudenflächen wiederherzustellen, umsetzen
kann.

Content of this thesis is the restoring of perennial plantations in the garden of
family Holst according to Karl Plomins historical plans. The garden of family Holst
is northeast of Hamburg in the district Storman. 1957 Karl Plomin got the first assignment
to design the area around the house. To clarify the heritage of that area the State
Office for the Preservation of Historical Landscape Schleswig-Holstein ordered an
expertise. Subject of this expertise was the inventory and historical analysis of
the park but not in detail on the perennial plantations. Main purpose was to investigate
whether it is possible to restore the perennial plantation according Karl Plomins
historical plans under present circumstances.
