Abstract: Within the scope of this bachelor thesis an analysis of commercial GIS-software for temporal moved 3D-Objects is done. The visualization of dynamic 3D-Objects is the main issue in this work. There are different approches of spatial and temporal data management described. Furthermore the functionality of data management, visualization and temporal data-handling in ArcGIS 9.3 is analysed. Therefore sample data of points and surfaces are implemented. The representation of spatiotemporal data is done with methodes and extensions of this GIS-software. These techniques are also explained here.
