Abstract: The thesis comprises an open space design for the entrée-area of the UNO-Campus, Bonn. The design considers adjoining roads and urban spaces, as well as the location’s significance as a new international conference centre and the UNO base in the city of Bonn. The new situation of the campus area demands a clear structure to create a significant, representative and high quality living space. These objectives were taken into account in the development of three layouts, from which the final design evolved. The scope included an illumination concept.
