Neue Agrarumweltrichtlinien 2009 - Zwischenfrüchte und Untersaaten zum Erosionsschutz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern sowie die Akzeptanz der Landwirte

Hochschule Neubrandenburg, 2009

Abstract: The European agricultural policy underlines the importance of the protection of the environment since the implementation of the "Agenda 2000". The several existing so called ?Agrarumweltprogramme? offer a good additional possibility for environment and soil saving methods besides the good farming practice. The realization of the European specifications rests with the member states. An skeleton plan of all agricultural environmental measures will be set on a German Federal level and will be approved in Brüssel. The individual federal states can let specific regional conditions influence the frameworks. In the context of this Bachelor Thesis these two "new agricultural environmental guidelines" are introduced and explained. The acceptance of the new programs was analyzed through a not representative survey carried out with farmers in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In opinion of the agricultural enterprises the planned measures are to judge absolutely positively but unfortunately in MV hardly realizable. The polled farmers absolutely support the opportunities of being able to implement positive strategies concerning the environment and the soil as a factor of production. But in the context of this guideline and the high demanded acreage, the most of the conventional enterprises are not capable to implement this EU Directive (Status 10-31-2008).
