Die Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Ort Retzow, südwestlich von Plau am See
im Tourismusland Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Die gesamte Arbeit entstand unter Berücksichtigung
von geschichtlichen, sozialen und landesplanerischen Aspekten. Bei der Erarbeitung
gab es drei Schwerpunkte: 1.) Wie ist die aktuelle Situation vor Ort? 2.) Die Notwendigkeit
der Überplanung des Ortes! 3.) Erstellung des Nutzungskonzeptes "Textildorf Retzow".
Nachdem die Bestandsaufnahme gemacht worden ist, konnte ein Problem- und Konfliktplan
erarbeitet werden. Dieser war dann Grundlage für die einzelnen Detailentwürfe. Mit
Hilfe der Vorbetrachtungen un den definierten Zielen für den Ort, konnte das Nutzungskonzept
erarbeitet werden. Die Gemeinde Retzow hat mit der Filzmanufaktur "Ülepüle" und den
Aktivitäten des Vereins zur Förderung angemessener Lebensverhältnisse e.V. (FAL e.V.)
das Potenzial sich zu einem Textildorf zu entwickeln. Das Nutzungskonzept ist der
Grundbaustein für dieses Vorhaben. Es dient der mittelfristigen Umsetzung sowie einer
langfristigen Etablierung des Textildorfes in der Region.

This paper deals with the village Retzow, located in the tourist-region Mecklenburg-Western
Pomerania, southwest from Plau am See. It was researched under historical, social
and landscape-planning aspects. Three objects of study where taken as main points:
1.) What is today's situation in Retzow? 2.) The necessity to plan the village over!
3.) The creation of the concept "Textile-Village Retzow". The community Retzow with
its Felt-Manufacture "Ülepüle" and the activities of the association to promote a
proper life-standard (FAL e.V.) have the potential to develop to a textile-village.
The implementation of the concept is the first step to the textile-village. It serves
a medium-term conversion of the concept as well a a long term establishment of Retzow
into the region.
