          <mods:abstract type="summary" xml:lang="de" lang="ger" xlink:type="simple">In der Nähe des absoluten Temperaturtiefpunktes der Atmosphäre in ca. 83 km Höhe (Mesopausenregion) existieren Phänomene (leuchtende Nachtwolken und starke Radarechos), deren Erforschung seit einigen Jahren forciert wird. Eine Möglichkeit dazu ist der Einsatz von Höhenforschungsraketen. Als Teil der Raketennutzlast werden Sensoren zur Neutralgasdichtemessung mitgeführt. Das IAP (Institut für Atmosphärenphysik) ist bestrebt einen neuen kostengünstigen Sensor (PIRANI) einzuführen, für den Werte (Staudruckfaktoren) zur Korrektur der Messungen mit Hilfe der DSMC (Direct Simulation Monte Carlo) berechnet wurden.</mods:abstract>
          <mods:abstract type="summary" xml:lang="en" lang="eng" xlink:type="simple">The lowest temperature in the whole atmosphere exists in the polar summer mesopause (83 km), where you can find some interesting phenomena like NLC (noctilucent clouds) and PMSE (polar mesosphere summer echoes). One possibility of their investigation are sounding rockets. A new instrument for the measurement of the number density is the PIRANI gauge as a part of the ECOMA payload. Because of the supersonic motion of the rocket a shockwave appears at the front of the instrument. The correction of the measurements with the help of DSMC (Direct Simulation Monte Carlo) is the content of this dissertation.</mods:abstract>
